WRFW is a student run campus organization. Students have the option of assembling a team of three or four volunteers to cover live action evening sports according to their interests (Wisconsin Public Radio broadcasts during the daytime hours).
Most sports coverage is now delivered through the athletics department. However, national commercial media outlets may have exclusive rights to covering championship competition.
